This riotous illumination celebrates the cycle of fertility and the boundless energy emanating from this. It is partly inspired stylistically by the Book of Kells and Sue Symons' earlier work Creation, which uses as its source the Book of Genesis chapters 1 and 2.
However, in spirit it also looks to St.Francis with his euphoric joy of life and his overwhelming and non-judgemental love of all living things.
